My sister and I arrived at the Bed and Breakfast where Katie and Noah were to be getting ready. We walked around, and fell in love with the location. Quaint, rustic chic, and comfortable. That level of comfort was evident in Katie and Noah throughout the entire day.
Katie is a girl that has been in love with love, and weddings her entire life. She had her dreams about what the day would look like, but I'm not sure she dreamed that it would be with a man that she knew when they both were young kids. Unbeknownst to Katie and Noah, their story started many years ago, but culminated in a reconnection on facebook, a chance reconnection, and a spark felt by them both.
After they were all ready, we took a stop over at the local United Dairy Farmers location (they apparently have some tasty frozen treats) where Katie loves to frequent. It was pretty tricky getting Katie and Noah with their bridal party sprawled out on the front curb with ice cream in hand, but we did it. (Thanks to all the people who waited to park their cars so we could get the shot in!)
It seemed as though the day was going to be unbearably hot, but with all the shade from the luscious trees in the park that they held their wedding ceremony and reception, it was the perfect set-up for the nuptuals between the totally head over heels, Katie and Noah.
Their day was so relaxed and beautiful, I could sense that it was totally them, and we were so happy to get to share it with them.
